Warranty Period

Warranty conditions are in line with the Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Union Parliament, dated 25 May 1999, on consumer products and related warranties.

Warranty terms do not apply in the following cases:

  • Failure to comply with the instructions described in the “Installation and User Manual” sent with the product by the manufacturer
  •  Modification or repair on the product without the knowledge and involvement of the manufacturer,
  •  In case of any damage caused by intentional, ignorance or accidental damage during transportation, installation or at any stage of the product life cycle.

Following guarantee periods are valid specified for each product range when they are used in Closed Systems*:

– 10 years for stainless steel radiators/ towel warmers with polished /brushed surface finish,

– 5 years for powder coated stainless steel radiators / towel warmers,

– 5 years for powder coated or chrome plated mild steel radiators/ towel warmers, and aluminum radiators

– 2 years for PVD coated stainless steel or mild steel radiators/ towel warmers

– Guarantee period of valve and valve accessories is 2 years.

• There is no guarantee when the products are installed on Open Heating Systems** or Sanitary Hot Water Systems***.

* CLOSED HEATING SYSTEM: It is a system that water circulates in a closed loop water installation (including

the radiator and the towel heater) without exposure to the atmospheric effects.

** OPEN HEATING SYSTEM: It is a system that water circulates in the installation (including the radiator and

the towel heater) being exposed to atmospheric effects through open expansion tanks. Open expansion tanks

are used in order to balance the increasing pressure or to compensate the diminishing water in the heating system.

*** SANITARY HOT WATER SYSTEM: Domestic hot water is used for domestic purposes as well as heating

the radiators and towel warmers in an open circuit.

Does the content of the water in the piping system effect the Warranty Conditions?
Yes it does.

In cases where the malfunction in the product depends on the production conditions, the products within the warranty period will be replaced, repaired or price of the product will be refunded. It is at the disposal of Hammam Radiator Quality Unit to decide between replacement, money refund or repair options. Money refund only includes the paid price of the products.

Within the framework of continuous change and development policies, Hammam Radiator reserves the right to make changes in products or remove them from sale. Replacement products may be provided for products that are not sold.

The warranty period starts with the invoice date.

If the right production conditions are not provided, Stainless Steel will also rust:

Contrary to popular belief, stainless steel can also rust. There are very important points to be considered in the production and use of a stainless steel radiator or stainless steel towel warmer.
If you pay attention, stainless steel towel warmers or radiators usually rust from the welding areas. Some of the reasons related to rusting may originate from production conditions such as **High temperatures in the production environment during welding, (we produce with the experience determined by many models and product-specific R&D activities), welding without proper barrier of oxygen, congestion at the welding area, unproper conditions etc.. As Hammam Design Radiator, we are able to make welds in which the penetration is equal everywhere and the surface temperature can be adjusted with computer-controlled automatic welding machines in many models (increasing the surface temperature and uncontrolled welding causes the stainless steel material to lose its stainless feature).

There are more than 100 grades of stainless steel on the market. Raw material sold at reasonable prices in the market may not be at 304 grade quality although they are barcoded as 304 grade. If the producer does not have a control mechanism in house to check the grade of stainless steel, then, without even being aware, they would be utilizing the lower grade of stainless steel for towel warmer and radiator production. Lower grade of stainless steel has less resistance to corrosion.

Although our raw material is specially produced according to our own quality parameters, we check the barcoded raw material from the supplier with our spectral analysis device at the material acceptance quality control point whether it is 304 quality or not.

In addition, equipment used in processing stainless steel should not be used in normal steel material processing. Otherwise, small steel particles stuck on the equipment can contaminate stainless steel during welding and this will cause corrosion on the stainless steel due the battery effect (For example, steel grinding etc. applications should not be made near stainless materials). The corrosion occurred in the towel warmers or radiators during production can damage not only your towel warmer, but also other parts in the piping system such as boilers and valves. Our products are produced by our professional welders with international welding certificates in the proper production environment and are tested under high pressures. Stainless Steel towel warmers, which are not produced under the right parameters, may rust.

Our company is one of the most developed companies in Turkey and Central Europe for the production of design towel warmers and extruded aluminum radiators. With our raw material supply volume and our technological production facility, we produce the right quality product at the lowest possible cost.

In addition to many references such as Marriot, Shangri La, Swissotel, we export to 45 countries. Our company is inspected every year by independent inspectors from Switzerland, France and England.

If the correct usage conditions are not provided, stainless steel will also rust.

Contrary to popular belief, stainless steel can also rust.

Apart from the production conditions (detailed information is given on how the correct production conditions should be), there are important points to be considered in the use of stainless towel warmers and stainless radiators, and we share them with our customers through our detailed guides. Our user manuals contain the requirements of the standards and the issues we have determined in different usage environments or user experiences as a result of our production experience we have gained since 1996 and our exports to more than 40 countries.

The biggest enemy of stainless steel is Chlorine(Cl). Stainless steel materials are out of warranty in case of damage caused by the salts (NaCl etc.) used in the cleaning of the treatment units that can be used in the system.

We recommend that you clean your stainless steel radiator with a slightly damp cloth. Using substances such as detergent, bleach, brightener and harsh chemicals may cause the surface of the product to rust. Do not empty the water inside the product unless you have to.

Even if it does not come into direct contact with the radiator, bleach, salt spirit, paint remover etc. used for cleaning in the same environment. The vapor of acidic chemicals containing chlorine may damage the product and cause corrosion.

Following guarantee periods are valid specified for each product range when they are used in Closed Systems.*
